WOOF welcomes new people ("Interested Parties") to come join us during our trainings which are held on weekends.
Training is held almost every Saturday, rain or shine or snow.
To attend a training you will need to contact WOOF ahead of time to ensure we know to expect you and to get the specifics of the training. You will also need to complete a liability waiver.
WOOF trainings are held every Saturday with a few exceptions.
Attendance at trainings by handlers, candidates and flankers is a requirement to maintain membership in WOOF.
Training brings all WOOF teams together to share recent events like searches and other successes. It helps handlers and candidates in particular trouble-shoot and progress with training towards certification.
Most of all, trainings bring together WOOF teams for fun and comraderie - WOOF is a unit of handlers who support, respect and like to spend time together.
Always alert, ready to go find 'em!
